FILIPINO KALI-ESCRIMA-ARNIS
The Filipino art of Kali is a weapons based system utilising sticks and blades as well as empty-hand techniques. Although known mainly for its use and defence of weapons it's not limited to this. Besides excelling as a realistic street self-defence system, training in kali develops attributes that relate to any martial arts system such as speed, agility, timing, body mechanics, and good co-ordination. Cass Magda is one of the true experts in the field of the Filipino fighting arts. As the one-time protege of Guro Dan Inosanto, Magda has devoted his life to the mastery of the arts he teaches and his skill and knowledge is world renowned. The Magda Institute Filipino curriculum comes from three main lineages: 1. Inosanto / Lacoste System. 2. Villabrille / Largusa System. 3. Giron System.
